CircleCityAuctions.com is an online marketplace dedicated to classic cars, original auto parts and accessories. Buyers and sellers on this website are typically classic car owners and enthusiasts who are seeking to buy, sell or trade vintage auto parts, classic cars, and accessories.
Classic car owners and auto part businesses can list their goods on this site for and may set an asking price and a reserve price. Buyers can view and bid on items for sale at auction or fixed price. Users can also post classified ads.
Listing durations can be set by the seller from just a few days to as long as 180 days for fixed price auctions. (Although, listings can be renewed if the item does not sell).
Some key words and auction lingo
Asking Price: The asking price is a "Buy-it-Now" price. The seller agrees to sell the item IMMEDIATELY to a bidder who bids this price.
Reserve Price: The reserve price is the minimum amount the seller will accept for the item. The seller agrees to sell the item to the high bidder UPON THE 180 DAY LISTING EXPIRATION if the bidding has reached or exceeded this price. The reserve price is not published but buyers can see whether or not is has been met.
Bidding on items: Bidders may bid anything they wish above the minimum. There is no restriction against the current high bidder raising his bid.
Selling Goods: This website is open to the public to list Classic Cars, vintage auto parts and accessories for sale.
